I paid for a river view & they weren't close enough to the river for whatever views. They even take river walk in their name! The biggest problem was the entire reason I booked this hotel was for the advertised indoor pool. Not only is it non indoors ( it looks it from the pictures, but it has a huge open up ceiling above the pool), it wasn't even heated!! Could've stayed somewhere much nicer, but wanted an indoor puddle. The valet was super rude & would not even fissure a grin. Pretty clean except some spilled drinks on the walls. Lobby smells old. Exterior walls are super and then, kept getting woken up by the trash truck & various other noises. The light streams in from the sides of the window blinds, so no sleeping in! Disappointed & would non stay here once again!

Walking distance to tourist attractions- The Alamo, Riverwalk, San Fernando Cathedral - if you don't heed a few blocks. While there's no free parking available, there's an overnight parking area right beside the hotel and then still convenient.

Older hotel, didn't have free parking. Due to Covid, puddle was airtight and breakfast wasn't bachelor. Did offer "to-get" bags with muffins, granola bar, apple, and water bottle. Room was make clean and nice, bathroom had been updated and was nice.

The staff here is Amazing. The forepart desk-bound girl who walked me to the bar side by side door (I'k a unmarried female by myself). The door guy was crawly too, we had nifty conversation while I waited in the morning time for my Uber. Everyone was just so friendly!!! Room was a picayune small, only it's what I paid for so I wasn't expecting much. Housekeeping even left me a little annotation on my notepad. A little bit of friendliness goes a long way.
